El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil

El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil has been making a difference in the lives of children in Michigan by developing character, leadership skills, personal discipline and Mexican cultural awareness through Mexican folkloric dance. The range of choreography EBFE performs covers the geographical regions of Mexico. Under the directorship of Susana Quintanilla, classically-trained in danza folklórica by the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes in Mexico. EBFE has won international awards and performed at major venues including Disney World. EBFE’s students have gone on to lead educated, high-level careers as well as become professional dancers. El Ballet Folklórico Estudiantil is a 501(c)3 organization and is one of the most respected Hispanic Michigan grant-awarded organizations in the state.
